  • I have a lot of schooling and experience as a doctor, but I’ve learned—and the best doctors, plumbers, truck drivers, attorneys, teachers, housewives and public servants all come to realize— that common sense is often as important as professional knowledge in solving problems.
  • The political process in Maryland has become encumbered with professional, self-serving politicians who have forgotten that many of our problems can be solved by applying a dose of old fashioned common sense. Try reading a few of the bills pushed by progressive Democrats and you’ll wonder where common sense has gone.
